This fragrance was created by the house of Penhaligon with perfumer William Penhaligon and released in 1872. A masculine fragrance that has survived the test of time. It is a sharp, witty oriental woodsy scent. Full of self confidence, you will find this a very rewarding fragrance to wear. It has top notes of relaxing lavender and fresh bergamot. The heart notes are cedar wood, Bulgarian rose oil, romantic jasmine and iris. The finishing notes are sandalwood, smooth amber and musk.
